Since 1982 I noticed that there was a systematic effort to De-Hellenize Greek culture and glorify the Left-Socialist geopolitical system as the righteous one and demonize the Right wing. Everywhere we went we so pictures of ….Che Guevarra!! Most people thought of him as Great revolutionary.However, most people did not know exactly what did he really stand for.
Pictures of Jesus and Karaiskaki had been removed from my old school and some of the students were wearing Che’s berret!!
The leftist ideology had been planted everywher in the name of freedom and democracy. Now the chickens have come home to roost and those kids including Alexis Tsipras, he and his followers of Syriza whith many hard core die hard «Communist» and » Leftist Pasok old guard may win the election on June 17th and this will be catastrophic for Greece. Like Loyd George had said in 1922 when Venizelos lost the election to Gounaris, «Greece must now walk alone in a path of horns» If SYRIZA is elected another DISASTER will occur in Greece. History has a lot to teach us but how many Greeks bother with History?
